Video help

2010-09-20

To record online videos, all you need is a simple webcam with a microphone. Most laptop computers have one readily available.

You must have the flash player plugin installed in your browser. You may freely download it here.

While recording, it is important to correctly set the sensitivity level of the microphone by the button in the lower right corner of the recorder window. The current volume is indicated by the coloured bar on the right. The optimal level is between the center and the bottom third, while excessive levels may introduce distortion. The distance between you and the microphone is also important. You should personally find your best settings by method of trial.
